According to Guinness World Records, the man-made "lagoon" at the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo, Chile is the largest swimming pool in the world.The coast-hugging pool is all man-made with a bit of patented technology that uses water from the nearby Pacific Ocean to fill it.
